Most people from the age of 40 and onwards use glasses in order to assist their near sight.

The main usage of glasses is done so as to improve their sight when they read (at a distance of approximately 40cm). In the near future, most of them will need to correct their sight in intermediate distances too. The use of intermediate sight is required in many of our daily activities (use of computer, follow-up a discussion, having dinner, doing housework, in work environment, etc.).

Recognitions and problem solution

Difficulty in sight of intermediate distances can be foretold by some obvious signs. For instance, the readjustment of the glasses either to the tip of the nose or to the forehead indicate that the reading glasses that an individual is using, constrain his/hers sight only to near distances, yet without providing an acceptable solution for intermediate distances.
